GreenWorks 25022 Review
|Owning a lawn is great but the chance to have actual green grass at the front of your house is a favor bestowed upon a few. As a result, lawn maintenance alone accounts for a significant percentage of a home owner’s regular cost. The choice of a lawn mower is, therefore, not one that you can take lightly. There are a few things to note when selecting a lawn mower.
First and foremost, there is the choice between whether you are getting an electric and a gasoline powered lawn mower. While the differences between the two are obvious, electric mowers are more efficient and tend to be less messy compared to gasoline lawn mowers.
The Greenworks 25022 is no different. It is an electric powered lawn mower that has these features. It is powered by a 12 Amp electricity. This power is enough to cut through whatever hedge may have grown through your lawn as a result of abandonment or in the course of normal lawn cutting maintenance.
Additional Features
20 inch steel cutting deck
This provides a sharp edge for all kinds of grass both coarse and soft. The thoroughly efficient wide cutting edge is ideal for covering a wider area for less time. The steel edge used
is strong and durable even without regular maintenance.
3-in-1 cutting edge feature
This feature is perfect for multitasking and hence, shortening mowing time. You can either side discharge, take grass clippings from the back as well as mulch using this mower. It is a great time saver.
7 point height adjustment feature
Depending on your lawn, you are probably going to need a mower that can adjust to different height levels. The Greenworks 25022 is great because you can adjust up to 7 different levels.
Wide 10” rear wheels and 7” front wheels
You can comfortably mow through any kind of terrain as well as during the rainy weather without fear that you will get stuck or fail to turn.
Pros
- Wider cutting radius covers a big range for shorter mowing time
- Durable and will see you through a couple of years
- Does not require regular maintenance
- Affordable
- Light and portable at only 56 pounds
- Less noise while still being efficient
- Has a mulch bag which reduces the extra job of having to pick up after mowing
Cons
- It is not self-propelled and you will be required to push it around.
- You might need to acquire another longer cord depending on how far from the source you are mowing.
- You might need to be careful not to trip the breaker.
It is also important to note that you may have to get used to the mower the first few times. You may also be able to establish a routine to regularly follow without having to keep moving the power cord.
Our Opinion:
This is indeed a great green mower which will cut your lawn evenly and with very little effort while at it. Even with its few cons, it is a great product to own based on its affordability and durability.
